Una banda de los pagos de Exaltación De Le Cruz (Provincia de Buenos Aires), nace a fines del 2001 , cuando el “Negro” Daniel Mendez graba su primer cd. Una vez terminada la grabación Daniel se dispone a formar la banda , conociendo así a el “Tano” Eduardo Tamburini (baterista) con quien más allá de formar una banda entablaron una gran amistad a la que se sumo la de Pino Valero “Pino” (bajista). Así se conforma la formación de este GRUPO POWER PUNK de un gran poder en vivo. En el correr del año 2002 la banda toco entre otros en La Colorada , Cemento , El Borde de Temperley, El hangar.La banda formada por el Negro Mendez (guitarra y voz) es pionera en ARGENTINA del SONIDO POWER PUNK.
CONSIDERADA HOY UNA DEMOLEDORA BANDA DE POWER PUNK , GLAM PUNK y ELECTRONIC PUNK.


THE HISTORY OF TORCH:

A band from the town of Exaltacion de la Cruz (Buenos Aires) was born in the latests months of the year 2001 , when “el Negro” Daniel Mendez records his first cd. Once the recording was finished Daniel starts forming the band , time when he meets “el Tano” Eduardo Tamburini (drums) with whom besides they formed the band they established a great friendship to witch was added Pino Valero “Pino” (bass). That’s how the three of them conform this POWER PUNK BAND of great power in live shows. During the year 2002 this band played among other places in “La Colorada” , “Cemento” , “ El Borde” , “El Hangar” and many other places. The band formed by “el Negro” Mendez (lead vocal ,guitar) is pioneer of the POWER PUNK SOUND in Argentina.
CONSIDERED TODAY AS A DEMOLISHING POWER PUNK, GLAM PUNK AND ELECTRONIC PUNK BAND.
